Rockingham County.

 

Messrs. Settle, A. M. Scales and Chalmers Gleen, of Rockingham passed through Greensborough this morning on their way to Raleigh, to tender to the Governor two companies of Volunteers from that county.  The officers of one company are Hon. A. M. Scales, Captain; Henry McGehee, first-Lieutenant; John L. Scales, second; David Settle, third.  Of the other, Hon. Thomas Settle, Captain; C. Glenn, first-Lieutenant; E. W. Hancock, 2nd; Robert H. Ward, 3rd.
